Gabe Almeida

Gabe Almeida, “Your Local Detective-Realtor ®️”, is a seasoned real estate professional who grew up in Torrance, California. Gabe comes to RE/MAX ONE with 14 years experience as a licensed agent, and over 30 years experience of personal real estate investing, including: his own residential homes; various income and rental properties; and multiple flip investments (rehabbing and remodeling).

Gabe is not just a real estate agent, he has a soft spot for helping others.  He retired from law enforcement in 2016 as a Police Detective Supervisor after nearly 28 years of service in Los Angeles. Having such a unique history, Gabe looks at real estate through a wide lens, with a focus of service to others. He is the son of an immigrant family with an unwavering work ethic. In the Mid ‘80’s Gabe completed his Construction Technology Major at El Camino College among the top of his class, and also studied Real Estate, Small Business Management, and Property Management.   


Gabe went on to work in construction for several years.  He worked for top contractors in the South Bay and West LA areas, building custom homes, residential additions and remodeling. As much as he enjoyed improving homes, he decided he needed additional challenges and to do more for others. In 1989, Gabe joined LAPD to fulfill his desire of serving the community.  

During his law enforcement career, Gabe also began investing in real estate for his family. Over the years, he experienced many up and down economic and real estate cycles with great successes and some costly lessons as well.  So after the 2008 real estate meltdown, Gabe turned those experiences into an additional career in real estate. 

In 2008, Gabe obtained his real estate license and  hit the ground running, helping others wade through the various challenges facing the real estate market at that time.  He successfully assisted numerous clients through the arduous short sale process and also set his focus on helping many first time buyers realize their dreams of homeownership.

Gabe now works with a wide variety of clients, specializing in multi-famiy residential income properties, mixed use/commercial investments, luxury homes, ranches and vineyards, and vacant land parcels.  He has expertise in working with seniors and their families and  specializes in probate and trust real estate sales.

Brian Hennessey

A 36-year veteran of the commercial real estate industry, Mr. Hennessey has managed every aspect of the real estate transaction: from developing acquisition and disposition strategies; to conducting market and feasibility analyses; negotiating and executing leases and multi-state portfolio transactions totaling approximately 12 million square feet at values more than $2 billion. Mr. Hennessey’s broad-based experience as a broker and an investment entrepreneur, owner and manager also includes the development and implementation of property renovation plans, project and asset management as well as the negotiation of loan agreements.

He served as Senior Vice President at Avison Young from January 2017 until August 2021. Prior to serving Avison Young, Hennessey served as Senior Vice President at Colliers International from May 2012 until January 2017. Prior to Colliers, Hennessey was Vice President at Younan Properties in Woodland Hills, where he headed up leasing on an 11.5 million square feet portfolio of office properties across the country.

Immediately prior to re-joining Younan Properties in 2010, Mr. Hennessey served as President of Westridge Realty Partners, a real estate investment company he founded in 2006. His accomplishments there include the syndication and acquisition of a five-building, 350,000 square foot office portfolio in Houston, TX and the development of a value enhancement program that added $700,000 in net operating income to the portfolio in the first 16 months of ownership.

From 2003 through 2006 Mr. Hennessey served as SVP of Acquisitions & Dispositions at Younan Properties where he acquired over 9 million square feet of office properties across the country. Mr. Hennessey served as a Principal at Lee & Associates from 1993-1999. He then spent four years as a top producer at Grubb & Ellis Co. before joining Younan Properties as a Senior Vice President and head of acquisitions and dispositions in 2003.

He is the author of the Amazon #1 bestselling book on commercial real estate “The Due Diligence Handbook for Commercial Real Estate” as well as “The How to Add Value Handbook for Commercial Real Estate” and “The Residential Agent’s Handbook for Commercial Real Estate”. I joined RE/MAX One because after being in the business for a number of years I decided to join RE/MAX One because of the desire to bring my business to the next level!

 

Phil began his real estate career with Century 21 Beachside in the early 90's and from there went to Century King.  Phil has owned and operated his Red Carpet real estate franchise (you may remember those guys). Phil has worked with Coldwell Banker, Prudential California Realty including one of only two buyer's agents for then then number one Realtor in Orange county. Phil was introduced to Exit Realty by his friend Firio who bought the first Exit Realty franchise in Orange county. Phil who was very experienced in the real estate industry and how things ran was so excited about Exit Realty that he proudly proclaims that he became the first Exit Realtor in Orange county (he won't let anyone of us forget it).

Exit Realty (Newport Beach branch) was bought out and Phil decided to change to USA Realty and Loans (he said they made him an offer he could not refuse).

For the past five years Phil has worked with USA Realty and Loans.
